The Brief
This family with three young children have a spacious family home. The downstairs layout included a kitchen and separate dining room. They had a dining table within the kitchen and found, like many of us do that they weren’t using the dining room and the kitchen felt cluttered. They removed the partition wall between the kitchen and dining room to create a larger open plan kitchen diner much more practical for family living. The customer wanted a traditional yet contemporary styled kitchen. The wish list included a 900 range cooker, open unit for cookery books and lots of work surface space.
The Solution
Bradmore grained units painted Alabaster with Stableford Oak laminate worktops and upstands. The warm tone of the alabaster creates a light airy kitchen with a contemporary feel and oodles of storage space. The 900 wide worktop creates a superb area for preparing and serving meals. The units have standard concealed hinges and brushed nickel bar handles. The wall units have been fitted with under cabinet LED’s in warm white.

This is a very practical, family kitchen it has lots of storage and a mixture of cupboards and drawers to help the family get organised.
Top Tips
The key factor in a family kitchen is clever use of space. This kitchen keeps the work zones to one area and has a social space with room for traffic in between.
