The Brief:
Built in wardrobes and matching free standing furniture for a master bedroom for a lovely couple’s home in Farnsfield, Nottingham. They wanted as much storage as possible, a more efficient use of space and something fitted around the sloped ceiling.
The Solution:
The customers choose the Fine Finish Furniture Bradmore range in Platinum. We fitted a double wardrobe to one side of the bed and a triple wardrobe was built on the other side to incorporate the slope in the ceiling. Two double robes were built near the entrance to the bedroom and a further double robe with bespoke sized shelving. The wardrobes all have stainless steel effect bar handles and a range of internal fit outs including a large, useful, built in pull out drawer in the bottom of one.
The matching standalone pieces include, a large chest of drawers, two; three-drawer bedside cabinets and a narrow four-drawer chest all with stainless steel effect cup handles.
Key Design Features:
There are five and a half floor to ceiling wardrobes in this bedroom providing lots of storage space. Wardrobes can be fitted around a room and look great, they don’t have to go across one wall, there are many options. The open shelving gives the room a chic and eclectic feel and provides the couple with a lovely area to display some of their personal items and mementoes.
Top Tip:
Consider your storage requirements, a clothing rail is essential for hanging up items but consider what other things you will keep in your wardrobe; shoes, accessories, hats, perhaps bedding and blankets. You may also need shelving, built in shoe racks and drawers.
